General FAQs

  • Pre registration: If you registered in advance, please plan to visit the registration table as you check in to the hotel, or as you arrive. Those who registered after September 18 may be asked to show a confirmation email.

    On site registration: On-site registration will be allowed as space permits. All on-site registrants must use their own device to submit their registration and payment by credit card via CE Portal (cash/check not accepted).

    Special needs, such as dietary restrictions, lactation room, etc., should be requested in advance. These requests cannot always be honored on site.

    Cancellation Policy: In the event you need to cancel your registration, the registration fee, less a $100 administrative fee, will be refunded if you notify us by August 31, 2024. No refunds will be made after this date.

    UMN Office of Continuing Professional Development (OCPD) and/or our partner in providing the activity reserves the right to cancel any activity due to unforeseen circumstances. In the event the activity is canceled, registration fees will be refunded. UMN OCPD and/or our partner in providing the activity is not responsible for any travel-related costs, charges, or expenses, including but not limited to fees assessed by airline, travel, or lodging agencies.

  • What does dinner include?
    Dinner includes a salad, an entrée, and a dessert with drink service. The dinner location will be within walking distance of the Minneapolis Marriott City Center.

    Can I drive myself?
    Yes, details on location will be provided. Parking costs are not included in the cost of dinner and should be covered on your own.

    How do I register?
    As of September 16, we are no longer accepting Congress Dinner registrations, as we have hit the venue capacity. We are unable to accept any day-of additions.

  • CME Information:

    • Please access the CME information on the website here.

    • As a reminder, you can access the agenda (also available as a PDF) and credit tracker worksheet to help you review the sessions that you participated in. You'll want to have this information handy to complete the Summit evaluation and claim your CMEs. Follow the steps below to complete your evaluation:

      • Visit z.umn.edu/CEPortal to access the CE Portal.

      • Sign In using the account you created at the time you registered for this course (do NOT create a new account).

      • Once signed in, you may be prompted to complete the required fields in your profile; pay special attention to your degree and profession. Then click submit on the bottom of the profile page.

      • Click on “My CE” in the top menu.

      • Select the “Evaluations and Certificates” button and complete your online evaluation.

      • Once complete, you will be able to access your Certificate of Participation in the same area, and you will receive it via email.

Templates

The templates are hosted on Google Drive. If your browser does not allow Google Drive access, please contact the event team at gcos@umn.edu to receive templates by email. To use a template, please download the file as a Power Point (.ppt) or your preferred file type and make edits locally on your computer.
Reminder, all slides are due on September 18, 2024 in .ppt format. All posters are due on September 6, 2024 in .pdf format.
